Wet day in Florida
Invest 93L has arrived in the sunshine state this afternoon. Here on the west coast, a feederband is quickly moving through with moderate rain and lightning. Light to moderate rain is found elsewhere across north and central Florida. Expect this rain and maybe some light wind across north and central Florida through mid-evening tonight. From here very good model agreement shows that this disturbance will move quickly across the northern Gulf of Mexico into coastal Texas by Friday morning. This is a very welcome rain for anyone who gets it across the drought stricken Gulf Coast.
The NHC is watching this system with much intent and has ordered Hurricane Hunters for tomorrow afternoon if they are needed. Until then, enjoy the rain if you get it!
